Ingredients
  • 2pounds white fishSnapper, mahi mahi or dorado cut into 1/2 inch cubes
  • 3cups fresh lime juice
  • 2 red onionsdiced
  • 2 cucumbersdiced
  • 1/2cup cilantrochopped
  • 2 tomatoeslarge, cut into 1/4 inch pieces
  • 2 serrano peppersdiced
  • Kosher salt and pepperto taste
  • 1 avocadosliced
Instructions
  1. In a large stainless steel or glass bowl, combine the fish, lime juice and onion. The fish should float freely in the juice and be submerged. Cover and refrigerate until the fish is as “done” as you like. 30 minutes for rare, an hour for medium rare.
  2. Drain the fish and add the rest of the ingredients. Salt and pepper to taste. Garnish with avocado.
